At one point in the conversation Loy mentioned about how a person offered him a crazy amounts of money to get rid of all his tattoos. (For those of you, who don’t know, Loy has a very small liking to tattoos, check his pictures - You can find out more about Loy here www.whoisloymachedo.com.) This was the inspiration for creating a message of how we raise walls of judgment around people, how we stereotype different castes and creeds, how the world & media creates pressure to wear masks just so that people change to fit into different social circles.
The world is filled with people who are discriminated, and have become an outcast to society just because they do not sync into the mindset of culture, religion or society. It’s like fighting over Mac or Windows, Nikon or Canon, Raw or Jpeg, the list goes on. Everything is unique and serves a purpose. People are the same.
Everyone has a sense of belonging, to be part of a something. We do not have to behave in a certain way to belong. Every individual is different and needs to be accepted for who they are and not what they should be. Our true self is who we really are when we let go of all of the stories, labels, and judgments that we have placed upon ourselves. It is who we naturally are without the pretentiousness. It is who we really are when we let go of all the masks we put on to fit into society and social structures.
Ask yourself what does it look like living without a mask on? We hope the answer to this will unravel the mystery of who you really are and opens up a whole new dimension of endless possibilities that only you can achieve. The world is waiting for an encounter with the real YOU!! So #BeYourself.
